Personality

One of the oldest surviving members of her species, Atefes has taken it upon herself to act as a matriarch. She's shrewd and matronly, cautious around alien species and supportive of her own people. While she enjoys the Refugium she'd ultimately like to find a permanent new home for the udraku. She's highly protective of her people, especially the new generations being born on the Refugium, and will act without hesitation to defend her young... regardless of the consequences to herself, the Refugium, or inter-agency politics. She is no-nonsense and tells it like it is. When Atefes threatens someone, she is fully prepared to act on her words.
