Personality

Bleak is an apt name for this young dragon. How is he supposed to play a part fighting gods? Bleak loves his bond dearly and wants to do his best, but he's pessimistic about the future and doubts his own abilities. He wants to help, he wants to be heroic even, but he's just a little guy and his abilities are pretty tame compared to the enemies he's meant to face. Bleak is determined and hard-working in his own right, but he feels there must be a better solution to the problem than out-and-out fighting and he'd much rather learn that. In between training, Bleak loves sitting in on diplomatic meetings and improving his mediation skills. While he's not a pacifist, Bleak feels his strengths are in diplomacy and accruing allies rather than physical confrontation. He loves acquiring information and may one day become an excellent strategist.

Bleak's loyalty is boundless, even in the face of certain defeat. He is often and dour and gloomy but refuses to turn his back on a friend in need. He might complain a lot while he helps, and he certainly won't be uplifting any moods, but he's got stout stick-to-it-iveness. Bleak is innovative and loves opportunities to use his brain rather than brawn.
