Personality

Vertan will never tell a lie, but he's exceedingly good at obscuring the truth for a bit of friendly ribbing. He's quite the mischievous little fellow and gets an inordinate amount of joy from poking fun at fussy Skedl. Vertan is good-natured though, and would never to anything to actually harm Skedl's feelings. Vertan presents himself as modest and demure, a little shy and unassuming, which helps him get into people's good graces, where he is more apt to pull off fantastic pranks. Despite his plain jane facade, he's truly a confident little fellow and often a good judge of character.

At heart, Vertan is a skeptic who values critical thinking about all else. While he's quite the trickster, when it comes to matters of knowledge and teaching Vertan is strict about checking sources and only presenting facts. While he doesn't enjoy being wrong, he'd rather admit to not knowing something than muddling through falsities.
